Before you start
Your workspace package must include Pulse Hub, and an authorized workspace administrator must activate and manage this add-on. Activation makes the saved-data connection and mapping areas available, but it does not connect an account, sync data, or contact Google.
Set it up in 3 steps
Complete the following steps for the workspace and the website that should use the saved Google data.
Step 1 — Activate the add-on
Open Workspace Hub, find Google Data Integration Add-on, and activate it. The Hub card then opens the separate Google Data Integration Manage page. Website Detail shows saved status and a Manage Google Integration link, not editable mapping fields.
Step 2 — Connect your Google account
On the Google Data Integration Manage page, choose Connect Google account and complete the approval flow. Pulse normally saves the authorized Search Console and GA4 property choices immediately. Reconnect is only for a connection that needs approval again.
Step 3 — Choose accounts and properties
For each website, choose a saved Search Console account and property, then optionally choose a GA4 account and property. The two services can use different connected Google accounts for the same website. Pulse lists only saved authorized choices for the selected workspace account. If GA4 is unavailable, you can still map and use Search Console.
Save & sync Google data
Save & sync Google data is the single website action. It saves the selected accounts and properties, then updates every mapped provider. If one service needs attention, the saved mapping and any successful provider result remain available. Refresh available properties when a selected property is missing or stale. Reconnect only when Pulse says the Google connection itself needs to be approved again.
What is saved today
Search Console saves website-level clicks, impressions, CTR, average position, a daily trend, and returned top pages and queries. Page Audits keep only their matching Search Console search state, impressions, clicks, and CTR; GA4 traffic is never added to audit URLs. GA4 saves a separate website overview for the last 28 calendar days including today: users, sessions, views, engagement rate, and key events, with the saved property, date range and sync time. Today may be partial, and Search Console can report after a delay.
Understanding Google status
Not mapped means no property is assigned. Mapped, not synced means setup is complete but no saved result is available yet. Synced with saved data means a saved result is available. Synced — no data for this range means there was nothing to report for that period. Partial sync means one service needs attention while another saved successfully. Reconnect or refresh choices if the page asks you to do so. These labels describe saved snapshots, never real-time Google data.
Refresh Site Data is separate
Refresh Site Data checks your website through Pulse's normal scanner. It does not contact Google and does not create Google or SEO evidence. Use Sync Google Data only when an authorized workspace administrator is ready to update the saved Google summary.
Where you will see the saved data
• Google Data Integration Manage — setup, connection status, property choices, mapping, and update actions.
• Website Detail → Overview — compact Google add-on status and a management link.
• Website Detail → Page Audits — below Latest Crawled Page Data, Google Performance shows saved website-level GA4 and aggregate Search Console metrics. Search Console Queries and Pages show the saved returned rows; Pulse states the returned count and may show fewer rows when Google withholds them.
• Reports and Proposals — saved client-ready Google summary while the add-on is active.
GA4 active users, sessions, views, engagement rate, and key events describe website-level activity. Search Console clicks, impressions, CTR, and average position describe saved search performance. These are saved snapshots, not real-time data. Google-only content hides when the add-on is inactive.
If you deactivate it
Google Integration-only sections are hidden. Previously saved authorized accounts, mappings, summaries, page metrics, and history are retained for a later reactivation; Pulse does not delete them or contact Google when you deactivate the add-on.
Permission and connection help
If a property is not listed, refresh the saved authorized choices and confirm that the selected Google account has permission for that property. A safe message identifies whether Search Console or GA4 needs attention and suggests the next step. It never displays account tokens or private Google response details.
What Pulse does not collect yet
This feature does not connect Google Ads or Business Profile performance. It does not provide keyword positions, query-level ranking dashboards, advanced Search Console analysis, or advanced GA4 acquisition, audience, event or conversion breakdowns. It shows saved snapshots, not live or real-time Google data. Normal page views, Help views, modals, filters, reports and exports do not start a Google sync.
