Where to find it
Open Website Detail → Tracking and select View source evidence on a detected card. In Page Audits and SEO History, select View details beside a saved category or Schema value. The dialog shows only that saved card or page row.

Tracking and Schema Source Evidence
Website Detail can explain saved tracking and structured-data findings with concise, redacted source evidence from successful saved scans.
What it shows
Entries can show the detected tool, source type and placement, capped redacted public tag markup, saved identifiers where appropriate, and the saved pages where it was found. A fresh scan stores a complete saved meta tag, inline script, external script tag, or JSON-LD tag when it fits the safe limit. If not, Pulse says that stored source was truncated for safety and whether its beginning or end is omitted. Coverage refers only to successful saved scans; pages without a successful saved scan are not claimed as checked.
How to read it
Direct page source means the saved public page markup contained the signal. Runtime-observed means an existing saved browser observation recorded it separately. GTM entries use GTM container evidence, GA4 entries use G- evidence, and Google Ads entries use AW- evidence. If compatible saved GA4 or Google Ads evidence appears directly and through runtime/mediated evidence, Pulse may show a possible duplicate-risk notice in that category. It needs runtime confirmation and does not prove duplication. Static event names and CTA-to-popup-to-form links are source evidence only; Pulse does not click, open, submit, or verify an interaction from this viewer.
Privacy and limits
Pulse caps and redacts this evidence before saving. It does not publish passwords, tokens, cookies, private API keys, authorization data, secret query values, or a raw page-code archive. Seeing consent-banner/CMP markup only means it was present; it does not prove that consent blocks any tag.
Earlier scans
Older saved scans can still show readable detector summaries without a source fragment. Pulse clearly says when source details will be available only after a future authorized scan. Visible text is shown as a saved character count when measured; an older saved scan without that measurement says so instead of treating it as zero.
When it updates
Opening Website Detail or Help does not scan or contact a website. New source evidence is collected only during a later explicit authorized Refresh Site Data scan.
