When it is useful
Use it to review unexpected visible changes to a public hero, contact page, service page, pricing area, or other important page.
Where to configure
Activate it in Hub, then configure it in Website Detail Overview for the authorized workspace website.
Setup
Choose the public page URL and Manual, Weekly, or Monthly frequency, then save. Saving does not capture a screenshot.
First run
The first successful capture creates a private approved baseline after a bounded scroll/settle pass helps lazy and scroll-triggered public content render. It is not presented as a website change.
Later runs
Later compatible desktop captures compare against the approved baseline. A failed or unavailable capture preserves the prior successful evidence.
Status and review
Queued and Running mean work is pending. Completed means saved evidence is ready. No meaningful change remains saved review evidence below the threshold. Meaningful change detected requires human review.
Approve, Ignore, and baseline refresh
Approve accepts a completed comparison as the approved baseline for later compatible comparisons. Ignore keeps the current approved baseline. A substantially different capture profile or image size becomes Baseline refresh required; explicit Approve then establishes the readable replacement baseline while earlier history remains preserved.
Scheduling
Manual runs only when explicitly requested. Weekly and Monthly use the saved schedule and guarded background processing.
Sharing
Client-safe summaries and report inclusion are separate controls; proposal use is explicitly selected. Before, After, and Diff images remain private through authorized Pulse links.
What to do next
Open the private full-size Before, After, and Diff evidence, review the percentage and profile, then approve, ignore, or investigate the saved difference. Approve changes the baseline; Ignore does not.
Limitations
Dynamic rotating content, late third-party content, or a materially changed page layout can produce differences. Pulse does not promise a pixel-perfect representation of every changing page.
Failed or unavailable
Timeout, safe-navigation rejection, oversized pages, or capture failure leave prior successful evidence intact and record an honest failed or unavailable state.
